Duties or Emotions : Which one do you prefer?? Life Verse #9
Abstract -
They say take charge of your duties, responsibilities, decisions at every stage of your life. This is not just a mere statement but an emotion , a belief, a principle that is inculcated in you whenever you are dealing with something important , something that can shape your entire life , something that has the potential to either scale up or scale down your own ambitions, your every move, your every aspect, and ultimately your every outcome yielded out from different flavors of life.
But at the same time, the supreme instinct inside every human enthralls us at each of these stages we deal with. This instinct is sometimes counter intuitive to your duties or principles. The instinct that is bound with one's own inner self, and with every quality one has reaped from its own learning/experience since the day it stood up on the ground. These instincts or "Emotions" are the true source of our own wisdom. In every situation that we have dealt with in our entire life, these emotions are the ones that has shielded or eased our journey by embarking us in its every chapter (Easy or Difficult). And these emotions are also certainly the one's that has challenged us in those distressed situations as well. True importance in our lives isn't it !!
Life should really be all about the amalgam of both 'Duties' and 'Emotions'. On comparing these, do you think there are situations you cannot decide which one to prefer over another ?? Do you think, it's not really easy to satisfy both of your introspects ?? Do you think, there are some regretful memories in your life where you think you could have re-instated after already making a choice ?? Clearly that's a tough choice given, we do face life-changing situations where choosing out of the two is the only option we have !!
Reframing your Futuristic Vision -
Emotions like : Love, Anger, Happiness, Sadness, Anxiety, Resentment, Hatred, Anger, Fear and so many more. They are the foundation of our lives, and the sole purpose of human beings. Everyone here has a belief system that is encompassed by such a vast variety of emotions.
But are the emotions enough to breed your future ??
We all agree, that our duties and principles are the main by-product of our emotions that has been incorporated in us. And it looks like they are in direct relation to each other. Yes of course, but with rare exceptions that everyone deals with.
What choice we make in those Exceptional scenarios, is what that basis the crucial aspects of our lives.
Everyone has futuristic vision, at least the ones reading this :) But does everyone has control over their vision. I am certainly sure there would not be even 1 person on this planet who has control over his/her vision. But what can be done is at least we can protect our dreams, our vision, our ambitions. Right isn't it ?? And in order to protect, do you think that you need to make some very hard choices followed by taking all those stringent measures that protects your 'Futuristic Vision' .
Do you think that in those cases, you try to compromise on your emotions given your rationale woven by your principles/duties, entitles you to grasp the opportunity there and then. The opportunity to safeguard our beliefs, our logic, our principles, our thoughts, and our futuristic aspects. What happens to Emotions, well in these cases emotions are the only ones playing its part on the back of our minds. Confused right, well there is no clear winner here !!
Question is whether Duties surpass Emotions ??
You can reframe your vision, guided by re-instating your emotions. But what you can't re-instate is your duties, responsibilities. Surely, you could work on those beliefs, logic which could be more fruitful in the long-term. But are you really in direct proportion with your Emotions all this while ?? The answer could be yes for many !!
Maintaining Balance -
If you are looking for an absolute answer , I think that could not be easy to find. But yeah outcomes of our life depends on the preference obviously. At any point of time, our decisions hold the key to frame our upcoming life ahead. The Decisions can mingle with both the present and the future for the right results that you as an individual aspire for. We all make choices and that is readily accepted by the world. Based on my understanding, that is perfectly Ok. But what that is not Ok, is the extent of over utilizing or Undermining the prospects of various factors. If we see like this, both of these institutions are absolutely necessary for a well-balanced life. These institutions not only imparts right knowledge to us, but they inadvertently communicate with each other. They seem to be tightly coupled in order for us to evolve.
Affection being an emotion : At some point of time, you adore someone or get adored by. This is a specific example of emotion where your belief system sometimes is compromised. Most of you are lucky to pick up the pace of this intense emotion with right duties towards your partner. But on the flip side, there are instances of aggravated pain that it brings for those of us who are not entitled to carry the much needed balance in this alliance. During such heart-breaks if we start lamenting the reason to our emotions specifically, that would be injustice done to ourselves. That would be impartial of us towards our belief systems and duties that we hold for our inner self. Similarly, when we are in any kind of relation, the principles or the right logical beliefs also play a crucial part in reverberating the sounds of our mental strength. Balance is the key aspect here to forge the bond of this intense emotion viz. 'Love' !!
Everything that you see as Life, Everything that you see as Yourself is beautiful only when it is Balanced !!
